Centralised palletisation of ice cream in boxes

The system handles packs of ice cream coming from 6 packaging lines. There are 6 end-of-line palletisers deployed and a large conveyor system transporting both the boxes and also full pallets travelling to a cold storage warehouse.

PROJECT GOAL

Centralised palletising system for 6 production lines.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

Packed products are carefuly transfered towards the palletising area on transport and accumulation conveyors. Product integrity is protected during the transport, no matter if these are wrapped boxes or bulk packs.

The 6 palletisers are identical and adjustable, they handle both types of products using 2 sizes of wooden pallets. Corrugated pads and/or slip-sheets are also applied during palletisation.

The pallets are wrapped, labelled and transfered towards the storage zone where the temperature is -28°C.
