Alvey proudly sponsors a Dutch sidecar road racing team of Bennie Streuer in 2018.
International Sidecar Road Racing Team Streuer, is led by Driver Bennie Streuer. Bennie started racing in 2007 in the Open Dutch Championship (ONK), and in 2009 also participated in the World Championship. Bennie first became Dutch Champion in 2010, and won the championship for 3 consecutive years. In 2015 he also met his ultimate goal by becoming World Champion! Followed also in 2016 by being crowned German Champion.
The last two years have been tough for Bennie both physically and technically, in the World Championship he fought hard at every race for a podium, but only managed to achieve one, and at the end of the season he decided that the Honda engine was just not fast enough (with the World Championship moving to the 600cc engines). So for 2017 he has changed the Honda for a Kawasaki Engine, which already in the first round at Le Mans has proven to be a must faster engine, enabling him to fight for positions with the current World Champions and 7 Times world Champion Tim Reeves.
This year Bennie is riding in the FIM World Championship with his French Passenger Kevin Rousseau. They will be participating in races at, Le Mans, Rijeka, Oschersleben, Sachsenring, Slovakiaring, Assen & Pannoniaring. As part of his preparation for the World Championships, Bennie also rides in the IDM/ONK championship with Gerard Daalhuizen, currently they are leading this championship after 4 rounds and maximum points scored.
